Ministry of Transport and Construction of the Slovak Republic makes available public electronic register of road transport undertakings (ERRU-European Register of Road Transport Undertakings).

The data contained in the register shall be processed under the supervision of a public authority designated for that purpose. The relevant data contained in the national electronic register shall be accessible to all the competent authorities of the Member State in question.

The most important legislation of the European Union for the area of business in road transport are:

  • Regulation (EC) No 1071/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 establishing common rules concerning the conditions to be complied with to pursue the occupation of road transport operator and repealing Council Directive96/26/EC - Regulation No 1071/2009
     
  • Regulation (EC) No 1072/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 on common rules for access to the international road haulage market - Regulation No 1072/2009
     
  • Regulation (EC) No 1073/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 21 October 2009 on common rules for access to the international market for coach and bus services, and amending Regulation (EC) No 561/2006 - Regulation No 1073/2009
